Calculate Your Mix

Enter your vial size and dose to get exact BAC water and syringe draw amounts.

Peptide Reconstitution Calculator
Calculate BAC water volume and U-100 syringe draw based on vial size and dose.
Units are based on a U-100 insulin syringe, where 100 units = 1 mL.

Reconstitution, Step by Step

Eight steps from clean workspace to labeled, stored solution.

Step 1 · 30 sec
Wash hands & clear your space
Soap and warm water for at least 20 seconds. Dry with a clean towel. Wipe down a small flat surface with a fresh alcohol swab and let it air-dry.
Step 2 · 1 min
Lay out your supplies
You should have: the peptide vial, bacteriostatic water, an insulin syringe, a spare needle for venting, alcohol swabs, and a sharps container within reach. Check expiry dates on everything before you start.
Step 3 · 30 sec
Wipe both rubber stoppers
Use a fresh alcohol swab on the rubber stopper of the BAC water vial, and another on the peptide vial. Let both air-dry fully — don’t blow on them or wipe them off.
Step 4 · 1 min
Draw your bacteriostatic water
Pull back the syringe plunger to your target volume of air. Insert into the BAC water vial, push the air in (this equalizes pressure), then invert and slowly draw the exact dose. Tap out any bubbles.
Pressure Equalization
BAC Water air in Push air in first → then invert and draw water
Equal air-in volume prevents vacuum lock when drawing.
Step 5 · 15 sec
Insert a venting needle (optional but recommended)
Push a spare empty needle through the peptide vial’s rubber stopper. Don’t attach a syringe — just the needle. As you inject water in the next step, this needle lets displaced air escape, so pressure can’t build up and push back against your plunger.
Two-Needle Setup
WATER IN AIR OUT injecting venting
The empty needle equalizes pressure as water enters.
Why it matters: Without a vent, the vial can pressurize and either resist your push or spit liquid back when you withdraw the needle.
Step 6 · 30 sec
Inject down the inside wall — slowly
Insert the syringe needle through the rubber stopper at an angle so the tip rests against the inside glass wall. Push the plunger gently so the water runs down the wall rather than blasting onto the powder. Peptides are fragile.
Correct vs. Incorrect Angle
CORRECT INCORRECT
Direct impact on the powder can shear and denature the peptide.
Tip: Keep gentle, even pressure on the plunger — count to ten while injecting. Remove the venting needle right after the syringe.
Step 7 · 1–2 min
Swirl gently — never shake
Roll the vial slowly between your palms or swirl it in a small circle on the table. The powder should dissolve within a minute or two. Shaking creates foam and can damage the peptide structure.
Step 8 · 30 sec
Inspect & store
Hold the vial up to a light. The solution should be completely clear and colorless with no floating particles, cloudiness, or residue. Label with the reconstitution date and refrigerate at 2–8 °C.
Don’t use it if: you see haze, particles, or any color change. Discard and start fresh.
